Football Manager went all-in on improving the match engine this year, but we now have some video evidence that it is certainly not perfect. FM21 does in fact make mistakes. Thanks, my reddit! It’s time for our first look at r/TheOldZealand to break down how bad the match engine has treated everyone. We also take in your musings on scouting, staff (assistant managers in particular), youth intakes, and yes, me actually not streaming. It was only for a little bit guys, come on.
The Reddit is now the latest frontier for Football Manager 2021 to be dissected. That or it’s a dump for memes by people like Kane. I hope to get some tactic discussions going on in the reddit too, as we start to delve more into what makes tactics tick in the new match engine anyways. It is such a dramatic change it may take a year or two for us to get comfortable with these tactics entirely. If you have an idea for a tactic throw it in there! It would be interesting to break down tactics as part of these videos.
Much Love,
FM Senpai
