Vladimir Latunov's first season in Croatia with HNK Rijeka ends in a relatively successful manner but, for just the second time on his Soviet Surge, there's no trophy to add to his cabinet, as Dinamo dominate the league yet again. That said, his summer signing Zijad Handzic carries the team almost single-handedly with a record-breaking season of goalscoring.
