Football Manager held one feature back when it dropped FM22 - the Versus Mode. Sure it was there when you opened up a career but it said it wouldn’t be coming until 2022. Well, guess what, this new feature is finally here. Football Manager has a CLEARLY PVP aspect for the first time since I started playing it. Except, versus mode is not what I expected at all and is in fact much broader than I ever thought it would be.
FM has provided a completely unique game mode that simplifies many tasks that used to require the editor. While I’m sure this has put a shock through my own database team, I have promised them they can stay right there, but versus mode allows a lot more people to run tests they usually would not have the capacity to run. It indulges curiosity in a way that FM has not before. This is certainly not the last time I will be making a guide or tutorial for it either, it has real depth.
