Morale and dynamics in FM21 is something we talk about a lot. We all know how important having a happy dressing room atmosphere and good tactical familiarity is in Football Manager 2021 - it’s even something we boost in the Streamer Showdown to make the matches more exciting. But I didn’t realise quite how much of an impact focussing on morale and happiness could have until this Champions League final. Off the back of losing 4-0 to Chelsea in the FA Cup Final a week earlier, we had 7 days to prepare our Sheffield United team for the Champions League final against the same opponents. And this is what happened...
