Hands up if you remember snapping up wonderkid Éder Álvarez Balanta on former versions of Football Manager. Well, come 2026, the centre-back was now 33, but was very happy to join Robinho Lazaró's exciting movement at New York Red Bulls along with, somewhat desperately, 38-year-old Gonzalo Higuaín. But NYRB enjoy a solid campaign that sees them significantly improve to a playoff finish.
