It took over a year for me to make it back to the Football Manager mountain top and it took the introduction of a new game, FM22, for me to get there. A few days ago we released the ‘complete experience’ of the showdown win, but I wanted to try something a little different a week on from my FM Streamer Showdown title. I wanted to sit down and tactically break down how he managed to skate through each round of the tournament and find victory at long last.
This essentially turned into a tactic guide for FM22. Now playing against people is always different than playing against the AI, but the art of countering opponent’s tactics while sticking to your tactical style of play. I felt confident going in, based on my performance late in the first showdown on FM22, but we proved that my tactical style can adapt to any opponent this time around so I’m happy to share it.
