When I started making videos about Football Manager I figured I would help people with tactics, scouting, and just making guides about the game. Fast forward a year and now all of a sudden a US international from my childhood says he thinks about me the same way I think about him because he plays so much FM. He plays so much, even plays football manager to get his mind right for games, and he has started saves all over the world, but in an ode to some of you out there, he always uses the same tactic.
Football manager is a very popular game with actual players, I knew this, but it was still a surreal experience for me to talk to this guy about the game we both love. It is also hilarious how much the addiction to the wonderkid factories of FM can strike everyone in society, equally. He has even had to set FM parameters with his wife so that he can keep playing. Then, of course, there is the question of signing yourself as a top-tier transfer in FM. Do you turn yourself into a wonderkid? Or keep it realistic? All answered, in this fun interview.
