In Journey to the Top we try to make Football Manager as realistic as possible, this affects the players we bring in, the staff we hire, the teams we manage, and several fun points along the way! We started our journey off at Darlington in the lower leagues of England. When we made it to League Two, Middlesbrough sacked their manager to get us on board. We won promotion from the Championship in our first season at this club. Last season without European distraction we were able to finish second in the Premier League so now we have Champions League football and Real Madrid wasn't able to get me to show up for an interview this summer!
