The large feature drops for Football Manager 2022 are coming thick and fast now from Sports Interactive, and they’re announcing new features in a way that they’ve never done before. My friend James Allcott was brought in to host a series of interviews covering new features from tactics to the match engine. Somewhere in between all that is the first huge new feature, a complete set of well-presented analytics in FM22.
This comes in the form of a place called the Data Hub. It’s the first sidebar addition in a couple of renditions of football manager. It comes with high expectations. For some reason, the addition of more analytics to FM is not something I forecasted aggressively. I even interviewed the guy at SciSports who said they would hope to collaborate on FM more. Whoops. It is, however, a really wonderful surprise to be unveiled at the first opportunity in FM22 because it will change the way I and millions of others play the game. You kind of have to watch the video to figure out what analytics are in there though.
