Robinho Lazaró oversees the mother of all summer rebuilds as he addresses the horrendous debts incurred by Barcelona. At the end of the 2051/52 campaign, Barca was £230 million in debt and spending £4.5 million-per-week on wages. But Lazaró's firesale boosted the bank balance to £150 million and the wage spending slashed to as low as £1.6 million-per-week. In other words, he'd recouped £380 million and saved £2.8 million in salary spending. He invests some of that money wisely and his youthful Barca still somehow dominate Spain!
