Well, it turns out recapping World Cup qualifying takes so long it needs two videos to completely understand who is in and who is out. This video goes through South America World Cup qualifying and European World Cup Qualifying for Qatar. These are, of course, the only two continents that have ever produced a World Cup winner, so it is probably important to understand who is coming out of these continents (and which power teams might miss the World Cup, to begin with).
There are also a large collection of teams that have booked their ticket to Qatar 2022. Some you might have predicted, but there are some surprise World Cup teams already and less than a third of the tickets have been booked. Actually, I think about a third have been booked. I don’t really know, I hate math, but it is close to a third of World Cup teams that have clinched their ticket.
