FM22 is out! At least, the beta version has been released to play! If you buy the game from a SEGA-approved retailer, you get a copy, to answer that question. As for all the fancy new features you’ll notice playing the game, well Miles, FM22’s lead creator, tweeted out a whole host of them. Big features that could determine what save you decide to play in Football Manager to small things you might not even notice if you had not watched this video.
Sports Interactive, the makers of FM, make a ton of little improvements to each edition of the game. It is like they invest more time in making a million little changes to every successive football manager rather than installing a few big changes to massive mechanics like tactics or the match engine. I can never decide whether I would prefer they switch this format or not, but I do know over time all these small features that don’t make the headlines become some of my favorites and make the new game worth getting.
