I get asked this all the time. If you have been playing a franchise like football manager for 10, 15, maybe even 20 years, the mechanics can be so familiar that you handle the tactics, wonderkids, and dynamics like it’s second nature. Then all of a sudden, FM becomes a breeze from one year to the next. Does this mean that Football Manager is way too easy? Maybe it needs difficulty levels to help balance out the community? I dive into these questions about whether my favorite game, FM, is suffering from a difficulty problem.
I am well aware that there is another side to this. Everything about football manager from scouting to well, the tactics again, can seem insurmountable. I will be making a video after this attacking the question from the other angle because I surprisingly get this question from both directions all the time. Is Football Manager too hard?
